TCLL Track Rules

  1. The League will conduct as many League relay meets as necessary to allow for sufficient participation for all league schools.  

  2. League relay meets shall have separate “A” and “B” versions of each event.

  3. All events at League relay meets shall be co-ed (Same number of boys as girls on each relay team).

  4.  A “B” athlete may be part of an “A” relay team so long as that athlete was not part of a “B” relay team in the same event.

  5. League schools may participate in only one of the available League relay meets each spring.

  6. Unless stated otherwise, League relay meets would follow the rules of the Michigan Lutheran Regional and State Track Meets. These rules can be found on the Michigan District website under “Schools,” then “Athletics.”

  7. Athletes should wear undergarments that are the same color as the dominant color of the uniform.

  8. As of June 2011, both members of a high jump relay team must make the starting height in order for the team to earn a medal or ribbon.

  9. As of February 2012, the starting high jump height will be 3-6 for “B” and 3-8 for “A” for League Relays.

  10. As of February 2012, each school may have up to three relay teams in each class for each event.
