About Our Church
WHO WE ARE
Here at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church we set aside Sunday as a day for the Divine Service where we receive the gifts of God in the Word and Sacraments.
As our name states, we are Evangelical which means that we proclaim the Good News the God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for the world and rise again so that all who believe might die to their sin but live eternally in Heaven.
St. Paul is a family of God’s people, educating disciples of Jesus for witness, worship and service.
OUR MISSION
St. Paul is a gathering of God’s people, educating believers in Jesus for service in his kingdom.
As brothers and sisters in Christ, St. Paul will reach out to others in the following ways;
Be a center for Liturgical Worship, confessional preaching, celebrating God’s presence in our lives through the Word and Sacraments.
Be a fellowship of Christian believers, encouraging one another in Jesus Christ.
Be a place for Christian families of all make-ups, to come together to serve God and the world.
Be a premier Lutheran education resource center for people of all ages, discovering how God has uniquely gifts us to grow towards spiritual maturity in Christ.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Being Lutheran, members of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), our congregation accepts and teaches the Bible-based teaching of Martin Luther that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century.
The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three short phrases:
Grace Alone
Faith Alone
Scripture Alone
